Warranty


Spanner Made It Ltd (Spanner.store) products are covered under warranty for hardware failure due to manufacturing defects.

This warranty will be void if the product is modified in any way. Poor maintenance, visible external damage, misuse, incorrect installation, or intentional damage are not covered.

We will not warranty or replace any product not purchased directly from Spanner.store or an authorised retailer. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Warranty claims can only be processed if:

  • You are the original owner
  • You have valid proof of purchase

If you believe your issue is valid, please contact the retailer you purchased from. Alternatively, contact us directly at Spanner Made It Ltd, and we will assist you.


SCOOTER PARTS WARRANTY

 

DECKS

3 MONTH MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This covers:

  • Snapping or visible cracking of the deck
  • Paint or finish defects out of the box
  • Structural/function failure of the deck

This does NOT cover:

  • Damage caused by misuse or abuse (e.g. grinding unwaxed surfaces like curbs or ledges)
  • Scratching, fading, or wear of paint/anodising over time
  • Damage from incorrect installation
  • Any modifications to the deck
  • External or intentional damage, misuse, or improper setup

Note: Scooter decks are subject to extreme stress. To extend lifespan, avoid constant heavy flat landings and aim to land smoothly to minimise impact.

All decks will wear over time due to the nature of riding and are not guaranteed against long-term fatigue.

 

WHEELS

90 DAY MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This covers:

  • De-hubbing of the PU tyre from the core
  • Warping or deformation of the hub
  • Severe PU chunking caused by manufacturing defects

This does NOT cover:

  • Bearings
  • External damage or misuse
  • Flat spots (caused by braking/skidding)
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage from grinding

Flat spots are caused by improper braking or skidding and are not covered.

 

TITANIUM BARS

30 DAY MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This covers:

  • Cracking of welds
  • Paint defects

This does NOT cover:

  • Less than 40mm fork insertion
  • Modifications or cutting
  • Paint scratches or chips
  • Misuse
  • Bending/cracking from poor landings
  • External or intentional damage

Titanium bars are lightweight and designed for experienced riders. Incorrect landings or drops will cause damage and are not covered.

FORKS

90 DAY MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This covers:

  • Breaking or bending (excluding the axle)

This does NOT cover:

  • Breaking or bending of the axle
  • Misuse or poor setup
  • Any modifications to the fork
  • External or intentional damage, misuse, or incorrect installation


CLAMPS

90 DAY MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This covers:

  • Breaking or structural failure of the clamp body

This does NOT cover:

  • Cross-threading bolts
  • Snapping bolts
  • Stripped bolt heads from incorrect tools (e.g. rounded Allen keys)
  • Scratching of paint or anodising
  • External or intentional damage, misuse, or incorrect installation


BRAKES

30 DAY MANUFACTURER’S WARRANTY

This covers:

  • Snapping or cracking of the brake structure

This does NOT cover:

  • Cross-threading or rounded bolts
  • Snapping bolts
  • General wear of nylon from braking
  • Wear caused by excessive force or incorrect installation

EXCLUSIONS

Grip tape, grips, headsets, and bearings are considered consumable items and are not covered under warranty, unless received in a faulty or non-functioning condition.

These items have a standard expected lifespan of 14 days from purchase. If any of these products fail within 14 days due to a manufacturing defect, Spanner Made It Ltd will arrange a replacement.
